Planting Instructions
Allow the freshly cut end to remain dry and callous before planting (if it has not already fully calloused).
Plant upright in a fast-draining cactus substrate with the calloused end buried 2–3 inches into the soil.
Wait 1–2 weeks before the first watering to encourage healthy root development.
Once rooted, water thoroughly only after the soil has completely dried.
Provide bright light, gradually acclimating to full sun over several weeks.
Protect from prolonged freezing temperatures.
